The body uses the minerals Iodine and Selenium to make thyroid hormones, which are essential for heat, energy and metabolism. This formula provides Iodine and Selenium, plus Tyrosine and nine other vitamins and minerals.
Provides key nutrients for healthy functioning of the thyroid gland. Tyrosine, together with iodine and selenium are needed to make thyroid hormones. Healthy thyroid function is important for virtually all body systems. Take alongside Ocean Kelp for additional thyroid support (not if taking thyroxine). May not be suitable for people with a fish or crustacean allergy.
If taking thyroxine, do not take more than one per day (or more than 30µg Iodine a day) Not advisable if pregnant or in cases of melanoma, schizophrenia, high blood pressure or if taking MAO inhibitor drugs.
