Acriflex Cream contains chlorhexidine gluconate, an antibacterial agent, and can be used to soothe and effectively treat minor burns and scalds.

Minor Burns

Minor burns can be caused by direct heat or by hot liquids or steam (scalds).

They are an all too common occurrence in the home and many are caused by doing everyday tasks and chores such as cooking and ironing.

The following prevention tips can help you avoid burns accidents in the home:

Use a comb to protect from heated hair appliances

After ironing put the iron on a secure surface to cool down

Use long oven gloves when taking things out of the oven

Turn pan handles away from the front of the cooker

Keep hot drinks away from small children

Acriflex Cream is not suitable for:

Major Burns

Major Scalds

Deep lacerations

Major Sunburn

When to use:

Minor burns

Minor scalds

Scratches, cuts and abrasions

Sunburn and blisters

Infected, cracked skin

For general use, apply Acriflex Cream freely and smooth gently into the skin.

For cuts, burns etc, spread freely and, if necessary, cover with a dressing.
