During 1995, it was discovered that Africans were using preparations from the Kigelia Africana (sausage tree) tree as their own natural Pharmacy.
Zambesia began to import an extract made from the tree fruit and, having found the skin cream we made helpful to family and friends they formulated their own range of skin care products into a range called Zambesia Botanica.
